Alliance between global companies makes Allied Universal the first security provider to integrate Carbyne Connect technology in Mexico
Mexico City, March 23, 2023 — Carbyne, the world’s premier platform for mission-critical contact center technologies, and Allied Universal®, a leading security and facility services company, today announced plans for Allied Universal to be the first security provider to utilize Carbyne Connect technology in Mexico.
As part of the arrangement, Allied Universal will deploy Carbyne technology throughout its contact centers and offer Carbyne emergency notification technology to its clients’ employees and their families, providing the fastest and most efficient response to crisis situations and security threats in the Mexican market.
In 2021, 1.2 million companies—out of a total of 4.9 million—in Mexico were victims of crime, according to the National Business Victim Survey (ENVE) 2022 conducted by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI). This has led to eight out of 10 companies investing up to 8% of their operating expenditure in security, according to ASUME, Agrupaciones de Seguridad Unidas por México.
There has been increased demand for private security services in Mexico, particularly during the pandemic. This increase is due to the rise in crime and the corporate sector’s need to protect their products and services, employees and customers, as well as the specific security requirements of businesses.
